It wasn't until my son was born that I realised just how quickly time passes with kids.
it feels like only moments ago I was holding him in my arms and now picking him up is a 50/50 chance of slipping a disc!
nothing prepares us for how quickly our kids change - and that's why Moose & Bug Studios exists.

how we do it
At Moose & Bug Studios, we don’t do stiff poses or forced smiles. We’re all about keeping it real, keeping it relaxed, and letting the moment speak for itself.
Whether it’s a baby’s first spaghetti face, a family hike that turns into a mud fight, or the pure chaos of a toddler’s birthday party, we’re here to capture the joy, the mess, and everything in between—exactly as it happens..

how does it all work?
we work by coming to you - whether that's your home or a favourite location with meaning. this means you can be comfortable in a space you know and feel relaxed in.
do you offer custom packages?
of course we can accommodate more customizable photo sessions if you had something specific in mind!
when will I receive my images?
we work to a 2-3 day gallery turnaround - this means you can view your photos and choose your favourites. once your images are selected (including any additional photos outside your package) we will then start on our detail edits and will have your final images delivered within 1-2 weeks.
what times do you shoot?
we utilise natural light - so as long as we have enough of that we're good to go!
we can shoot most of the day from sunrise right through to 'golden hour' just before we lose the sun over the horizon.
depending on the time of day that suits you we can provide some direction for best results.
can we request locations?
of course! we come to you - whether that's in your home, a local park you love, your favourite beach, or picturesque hike.
do you travel?
we are local to the mornington peninsula, but we are happy to travel further afield. extensive travel will incur additional costs.
what do we wear?
there are a few ways we can approach this.
if you feel most relaxed in a hole-ridden t-shirt and a pair of trackies then by all means wear that!
otherwise we can work together to come up with a colour palette to for you and your family to compliment each other and create a unified aesthetic.
how does payment work?
whatever package you select we will require a $200 deposit to confirm your session.
we will then take the remainder of the payment prior to delivery of the completed photos. you are also more than welcome to pay the outstanding amount on the day of your shoot.
we have several means of procession payments including EFT, bank transfer or cash if preferred.
